Authoress Susan

I'm a writer, revising my novel entitled Emergence and planning a few YA stories.

I attended the Writing the Breakout Novel Intensive Workshop led by Donald Maass in San Antonio in September 2009. There I learned mesmerizing techniques straight out of the secret literary agent handbook. The best part was meeting fabulous, friendly authors and editors.

Trivia: In 2006, I was invited to write a short story for a children's series about wizarding schools. My contribution is in the third book of the series.

Friending: If you'd like to friend me, please do.

Words I live by: Acknowledge and move on.

Oh, yeah. The personal stuff: non-practicing interior designer (NCIDQ), pleasantly married with children, lover of Brit alternative/indie rock, espresso and tea addict, foodie, environmentalist, optimist, and futurist. I write something every day, well, almost.
